Yes. Loving Spirit is a 501(c) 3, charitable organization, Tax ID: 47-3908857, established in Colorado in 2015. Contributions by U.S. citizens and companies are tax deductible as allowed by law.
Will I receive a receipt for my gift?
Yes. Loving Spirit will mail or email you a receipt for each donation you make.
Will my name and address be shared with others?
No. Loving Spirit does not sell, rent or trade the names, addresses or email addresses of our donors.
Are online donations to Loving Spirit secure?
Yes. Online donations to Loving Spirit are handled by Seamless Donations and all information you provide is encrypted to prevent theft and interception. A key or closed lock displayed on your browser status bar indicates that you have a secure connection when you enter the online donation page. The Loving Spirit staff does not have access to your account information.
If I give, how often will I receive mail from Loving Spirit?
Loving Spirit will send regular mailings and annual newsletters to keep you updated on how your gift is making an impact. You will also have the option to decrease the frequency or opt out entirely of mail or email communications.

How much of my gift goes to Loving Spirit programs?
Currently, 90% of all funds donated to Loving Spirit goes directly to our efforts to transform the journey of loss by changing the way we think about, prepare for and respond to grief and loss.
